Have you ever struggled with confidence? Maybe you think you have confidence but still secretly worry what others think of you when you try something new or different? Keep reading for my TOP 3 book suggestions on Confidence!
I’ve been there! I’ve always been a people pleaser and want others to be happy. In the past I would find myself going out of my way to make others feel comfortable even if it meant that I stretched myself. I have learned that was my OWN self confidence issue and I had to learn to overcome my own insecurities.
After having 3 children in 4 years I found myself in a body I wasn’t used to. I had to learn how to love the new me instead of talking negatively to her all the time! First, I started a health and fitness journey but that wasn’t enough. After I lost the weight I still was lacking self confidence that I thought I would gain.
After having helped 100+ women on their health and fitness journey as well as at home business mentorship I have learned that almost ALL women struggle with self confidence or self doubt. And, it doesn’t matter if you are female or not. It’s something human’s in general battle with each and every day.
I’m here to tell you that you don’t have to struggle anymore! It doesn’t mean you are weak or unworthy if you lack self confidence. Self confidence doesn’t have to be about your looks either. It can be in any way that you see yourself. Maybe you feel you’re not smart enough, funny enough or have social issues. You can overcome your fears and love yourself again, inside and out!
Among other suggestions, I truly believe in reading from the experts which has brought me to develop this blog post about my top 3 books on self confidence.
- You are a Badass by Jen Sincero
I have read this book 3 times! Every time I read/listen I find myself on cloud 9! She has a funny way of writing that draws you in and is so real, raw and honest!
2. The Confidence Code by Katty Kay
The Confidence Code is amazing! It is specific to women and confidence in the work place as well as in life. It is a must read for all women in my opinion.
3. Awaken the Giant Within by Tony Robbins
Some people like Tony Robbins and some don’t. I have to say I had heard bad things so I was skeptical but the man is the industry GIANT for a reason. He’s captivating and knows how to speak truth unlike a lot of people!
