Let’s talk a walk down memory lane shall we! Before I had kids I would wash and dry my hair, put makeup on and actually get dressed about 80% of the time . After having 1 kiddo that turned to about 75% and most days look like this:
2 kids 50% and I think for the entire first year of having 3 kids, 4 and under I probably got dolled up 5 times. In the entire year. NO JOKE! I was sleep deprived, exclusively pumping and barely hanging on. I walked around like a zombie and most days looked like this:
But, after I finished pumping when my baby was 11.5 months old I decided to make a change. I wanted to get back to the me I knew was deep down inside begging to come out. She was still there, just beaten down from Motherhood.
I started to take better care of myself starting with my health, fitness and then mental state. I had been so consumed with my children they became idols in my life. It’s hard to admit that. Hard to type out that I loved my children more than even my own well being. Once I realized I needed to take care of me, to be the best Mom FOR THEM I started to see the light. LOL! That whole journey started 2 years ago and you can read more about it here.
Anyways, let’s get to the topic! Moms! Just because you have kiddos and stay home doesn’t mean you can’t feel your best and use a little makeup! I promise it’s not that difficult and I walk you through the whole process in this tutorial! Check it out!
